Wolfpack Outfitters, the flagship location of NC State Bookstores, opened in June 2015 as an anchor tenant in the new Talley Student Union. The new store opened to rave reviews from the campus community and has since hosted tours for at least thirty college store groups. David Burgess was a pleasure to work with and his extensive experience was an invaluable resource during the several years of construction and design. He made countless trips to be on site for planning meetings and was always responsive to design changes. David fostered a collaborative environment to create the finished product which exceeded our expectations. The store has become a “must see” location on campus for new students, parents, and guests. Wolfpack Outfitters is visually attractive to customers and provides ample space to support shopping, browsing, and hosting special events. The layout also offers flexible and efficient use of space to enhance workflow and operations which will serve NC State University for many years to come.

Burgess + Kremer did outstanding work on our new 15,00 sf store.  David captured the spirit of this new store and brought it to life.  Work by this firm complements the other retail stores in this project.  Their work is so good, they are doing another store for us now that will open fall 2017.
